Andrew Brown

Dr. Andrew Brown graduated with honors from the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine class of 2023 (although his heart lies with his undergraduate alma mater, The Ohio State University). He then went on to complete a rotating internship at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine before practicing for several years in Fort Worth, Texas. He joined the Wilmington Animal Healthcare team in 2026 after moving to the area to be closer to family.

Dr. Brown has interests in gastrointestinal disease, kidney disease, and preventative medicine. He also has a special interest in senior and aging dog care and is certified by the Senior Dog Veterinary Society.

Outside of work, Dr. Brown enjoys hiking, kayaking, almost any outdoor activity, and spending time with his wife, Dr. Kelsey Ewart, their two dogs (Amos and Nymeria), two cats (Stanley and Pinot), and two spiders (Pennywise and Portia). Growing up in Maryland, he is an avid DC sports fan and is extremely loyal to his teams.
