Dr. Jeff Ward is one of the founders of Wilmington Animal Healthcare.
He is a NC native and has lived in Wilmington 22 years. Dr. Ward graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 in the top 10% of his class. He then completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Ward enjoys soft tissue surgery and dentistry. He especially likes getting to know patients over their lifetime.
In his spare time Dr. Ward enjoys kayaking, reestablishing native habitats for wildlife and spying on owl and osprey nests. He has too many dogs and two particularly obnoxious cats. His kids are good humans though, so that makes up for all the pet mischief.
