Dr. Shawna Rossini joined Wilmington Animal Healthcare in April 2021.
She is a 2015 graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University in 2007. Following undergrad, Shawna worked as a district manager for a grocery chain prior to deciding to pursue veterinary medicine. Shawna has worked in both emergency/critical care and general practice settings, most recently having worked at an emergency/referral hospital in Maryland prior to moving to Wilmington to be near family. She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, but has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine and preventative care.
A native New Englander, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves farm animals, yoga, photography, and doing anything outdoors!
